I am glad to have someone responding to this topic.
 
Well, no,ceramic knife does not work on frozen meat.
It does tremendously good job on meat, fresh or cooked.
My daughter thought it was toy knife when I first got it, and
touched the sharp edge with finger, and ...
 
The sharpness lasts a long while but needs to be sharpened
once in a while, this can be done by the agent in Taiwan;
you may obtain the information when you purchase one.

    Thanks for your replying. How about frozen meat? Is it also good to slicing? sorry to ask you so many questions..I thought to buy one 陶瓷刀 before.....but I do not hear anyone had before. Thanks!!

Dear Amy,
 
Yes, ceramic knife is very sharp, more than you can imagine.
But don't let it fall to the ground or hit the hard surface,
it might crack the sharp edge.
 
It works excellently especially when I treat the sashimi fish meat.

    I am just wondering that if 陶瓷刀 is really that sharp and useful? What meat do you use 陶瓷刀 to cut??

身為家庭煮婦
廚房是我的重鎮
鍋碗瓢盆是我的兵將
前天屈指算來我擁有
三支菜刀、兩支魚、肉刀
一支剁刀、一支陶瓷刀、一支麵包刀
三支水果刀
五塊砧板
 
我堅持刀一定要利
鈍刀更容易出意外
刀雖各有用途
常用的有四支
但也會混著用
 
砧板的話
我分水果用 與肉菜用
其中有一塊是處理魚與生魚片用為杉木砧板
另一塊25x15杉木 在新學友買的
用來切蔥薑蒜 ...〈當然也切菜〉
這樣就不用洗一大塊砧板
